SOX4 enables oncogenic survival signals in acute lymphoblastic leukemia

The Sox4 transcription factor mediates early B-cell differentiation. Compared with normal pre-B cells, SOX4 promoter regions in Ph(+) ALL cells are significantly hypomethylated.
