Iron Catalyzed Cycloaddition of Alkynenitriles and Alkynes
[Image: see text] The combination of Fe(OAc)(2) and an electron-donating, sterically-hindered pyridyl bisimine ligand catalyzes the cycloaddition of alkynenitriles and alkynes. A variety of substituted pyridines were obtained in good yields.
