The synthesis and properties of some antiviral nucleosides
The syntheses of some thymidine analogues, including 2′-deoxy-5-ethynyluridine and E-5-(2-bromovinyl)-2′-deoxyuridine are outlined. Some of these compounds show significant anti-herpes activity invitro.
