Palladium Asymmetric Allylic Alkylation of Prochiral Nucleophiles: Horsfiline
[Image: see text] The asymmetric synthesis of the oxindole alkaloid horsfiline is described. A palladium-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation (AAA) is used to set the spiro(pyrrolidine-oxindole) stereogenic center.
