Lymphocyte nucleolar activation as a marker of autoimmune disorders. II. Observations in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and other connective tissue diseases.
An increased number of lymphocytes with active nucleoli was found in the peripheral blood of most patients suffering from connective tissue diseases associated with autoimmunity.
