Synthesis of 2,2,5-Trisubstituted Tetrahydrofurans by Ferrocenium-Catalyzed Dehydrative Diol Cyclization Reactions
A ferrocenium-catalyzed synthesis of trisubstituted tetrahydrofurans by dehydrative cyclization of diols is reported.
