Directed Nucleophilic Addition of Phenoxides to Cyclopropenes
Alkali metal-templated addition of aryloxides across the double bond of non-conjugated cyclopropenes is described. High cis-selectivity is achieved through a directing effect of a strategically-positioned carboxamide functionality.
