Direct modulation of secretory chloride channels by arachidonic and other cis unsaturated fatty acids.
The effect of fatty acids on Cl- channels and transepithelial Cl- secretion is investigated. Patch-clamp experiments show that arachidonic acid blocks Cl- channels in a dose-dependent manner.
