There and back again: insulin, ENaC, and the cortical collecting duct
Cell culture models suggest mechanisms by which insulin stimulates ENaC in the cortical collecting duct. These mechanisms still need to be tested for physiological significance in animal models of insulin resistance.[Image: see text]
