A new postal code for dendritic mRNA transport in neurons
Recent work by the Moine group, published in May in EMBO reports, shows that guanine-quadruplex structures in the 3′UTR of neuronal mRNAs function as a dendritic mRNA targeting signal in mouse cortical neurons.
