Morphological effects of lipopeptides against Aspergillus fumigatus correlate with activities against (1,3)-beta-D-glucan synthase.

The lipopeptide antifungal agents, echinocandins, papulacandins, and pneumocandins, kill Candida albicans by inhibiting glucan synthesis.
