Presence of Bacteriophage-Like Inhibitory Particles in Escherichia coli
Bacteriophage-like particles were found in the supernatant fluids of Escherichia coli O111a and O111:B(4). Caution is urged in the study of deoxyribonucleic acid synthesis and replication in these strains. IMAGES:
