The detection of the messenger ribonucleic acid for the α-lactalbumin of guinea-pig milk (Short Communication)

RNA was extracted from the polyribosomes isolated from the mammary glands of a lactating guinea pig and injected into Xenopus oocytes. On incubation the oocytes effected the biosynthesis of α-lactalbumin.
