On the bowshocks associated with the orion proplyds
We present hydrodynamic simulations of the interaction between the photoe-vaporating ow from an externally irradiated circumstellar disk and a stellar windfrom a hot star. The results are compared with observations of the high-ionizationemission arcs found in front of proplyds in the Orion nebula.
