Redescription of Octolecanium perconvexum (Cockerell), new genus and new combination, with description of a new species from Guatemala (Hemiptera: Coccoidea: Coccidae)

Neolecanium perconvexum (Cockerell) is transferred to the new genus Octolecanium Kondo. The adult femaleand first-instar nymph are redescribed and described respectively. A new species, O. guatemalensis Kondo isalso described based on the adult female. A key to separate the two species is given.
