One new genus and five new species from localities in M éxico with tropical dry forest as dom inant vetegetation aredescribed: Styloxus angelesae, Aliciana, Aliciana quadrimaculata, Heterachthes beatrizae, Pachymerola mariaeugeniae andNoguerana rodriguezae.
