The Second Spectrum of Nickel (Ni II)
An analysis of Ni II based on 4300 observed lines is presented. The low structures are 3d(9), 3d(8) 4s and 3d(7) 4s(2) which are now complete except for 3d(8)((1)S)4s(2)S and 3d(7) 4s(2 2)P(½) and the higher of the two (2)D terms of 3d(7) 4s(2).
