Photochemical synthesis of model compounds for nucleic acid-protein adducts
As a model for the photo-cross-linking of nucleic acid to protein, we have investigated the photoinduced coupling reaction of 5-bromouridine to tryptophan derivatives. Photoaddition of L-lysine to 1,3-dimethyl-4-thiouracil has also been described.
