Effects of preventive oral supplementation with iron or iron with folic acid for women following childbirth

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To examine the effects of oral iron supplementation alone or in combination with folic acid provided to women during the first six weeks postpartum on maternal and infant health outcomes.
