Retinopathy: A sign of cerebral small vessel disease in diabetes?
Retinal microvascular abnormalities may be useful predictive imaging marker for cerebral small vessel disease. Learning from retinal signs may provide clues to understanding pathophysiology of lacunar stroke and subclinical cerebrovascular diseases in diabetic patients.[Image: see text]
