Optimization of Lipase production from a novel strain Thalassospira permensis M35-15 using Response Surface Methodology
Lipases can catalyze the hydrolysis of glycerol, esters and long chain fatty acids. A lipase producing isolate M35-15 was screened and identified as Thalassospira permensis using 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis.
