Progressive multifocal leucoencephalopathy: remission with cytarabine.
A patient with a 14 year history of sarcoidosis developed a progressive left cerebral hemisphere lesion. The clinical diagnosis of progressive multifocal leucoencephalopathy was confirmed by brain biopsy and remission occurred after treatment with cytosine arabinoside. IMAGES:
