Chronic haemolytic anaemia in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
A patient with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy was found to have a chronic intravascular haemolytic anaemia. After investigation this was attributed to the abnormal haemodynamics of the cardiac disease.
