Renal vein thrombosis in cases of polyarteritis nodosa and of the Henoch-Schoenlein syndrome
The occurrence of renal vein thrombosis in a case each of polyarteritis nodosa and the Henoch-Schoenlein syndrome is reported. It is suggested that obliteration of the arterioles that supply the walls of the veins may have initiated the venous thrombosis in these two cases. IMAGES:
