MinCD cell division proteins form alternating co-polymeric cytomotive filaments
During bacterial cell division, filaments of the tubulin-like protein FtsZ assemble at midcell to form the cytokinetic Z-ring. Its positioning is regulated by the oscillation of MinCDE proteins.
