Comparison of replication of adenovirus type 2 and type 4 in human lymphocyte cultures.
Adenovirus type 2 was capable of replicating in purified lymphocyte cultures from human adenoid specimens. Phytohemagglutinin stimulation enhanced the replication of virus.
