The title compound, [Ru(CO(3))(η(6)-C(6)H(6)){(C(6)H(11))(2)P(CH(2)C(10)H(7))}]·3CHCl(3), was synthesized by carbonation of [RuCl(2)(η(6)-C(6)H(6)){(C(6)H(11))(2)P(CH(2)C(10)H(7))}] with NaHCO(3) in methanol at room temperature.
