In the title compound, C(19)H(14)N(2)O, the phenyl rings form dihedral angles of 10.90 (10) and 42.14 (6)° with pyridine ring and an angle of 35.7 (2)° with each other. The orientation of the methoxy group is defined by the C—O—C—N torsion angle of 4.9 (2)°.
