N-(1H-Indol-3-yl­methyl­idene)-4-methyl­piperazin-1-amine

In the title compound, C(14)H(18)N(4), the piperazine ring is in a slightly distorted chair conformation. The indole ring system is twisted from the piperazine ring, making a dihedral angle of 7.27 (11)°. In the crystal, N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds link mol­ecules into chains along [10-1].
