In the title compound, [ZnI(2)(C(34)H(31)N(3))], the Zn(II) atom is four-coordinated by two I atoms and the pyridine N atoms from the bidentate 6′-phenyl-2,2′-bipyridine ligand in a distorted tetrahedral geometry.
