Palladium-Catalyzed Arylation and Heteroarylation of Indolizines

[Image: see text] A highly effective protocol for palladium-catalyzed selective arylation and heteroarylation of indolizines at C-3 has been developed. Mechanistic studies unambiguously support an electrophilic substitution pathway for this transformation.
