In the title compound, C(21)H(16)N(2)O(2), the dihedral angles between the mean planes of the 4-nitrophenyl ring and the two phenyl rings are 57.3 (5) and 16.8 (6)°. The imine group displays a C—C—N—C torsion angle of −24.9 (3)°.
