Dissection of the r-determinant of the plasmid R100.1: the sequence at the extremities of Tn21.
We have sequenced the extremities of the transposon Tn21, isolated from the r-determinant of the multiple antibiotic resistance plasmid R100.1, and show that it is a member of the Tn3 family of elements. IMAGES:
