In the title compound, C(15)H(14)N(2)O(3), the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 47.9 (3)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked through N—H⋯O, O—H⋯O and O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the ab plane.
