Rhodium Catalyzed Intramolecular C-H Insertion of α-Aryl-α-diazo Ketones
[Image: see text] Direct diazo transfer proceeds smoothly with α-aryl ketones. The derived α-aryl-α-diazo ketones cyclize efficiently with Rh catalysis to give the corresponding α-aryl cyclopentanones.
