In the title amide compound, C(16)H(17)NO(5), the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 71.59 (4)°. In the crystal, intermolecular N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a two-dimensional array parallel to the ab plane.
