In the title compound, C(15)H(12)O(4), the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 64.0 (6)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming C(8) chains propagating in [10[Image: see text]] and the packing is reinforced by weak C—H⋯O interactions.
