E-cadherin, a new mixer in the Yamanaka cocktail
A paper published in May in EMBO reports by Redmer et al demonstrates that expression of E-cadherin together with three of the Yamanaka factors (Sox2, Klf4 and c-Myc) induces reprogramming of murine fibroblasts, even in the absence of Oct4.
