3-(4-Chlorophenyl)-1-[(2R,4aR,8aR)-4a,8-dimethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,8a-octahydronaphthalen-2-yl]prop-2-en-1-one
The title compound, C(21)H(25)ClO, was semi-synthesized from isocostic acid, isolated from the aerial part of Inula Viscosa (L) Aiton [or Dittrichia Viscosa (L) Greuter]. The cyclohexene ring has a half-chair conformation, whereas the cyclohexane ring displays a chair conformation.
