In the title complex, [Ni(C(21)H(15)ClN(2)O(2))], the Ni(II) ion is coordinated by two N and two O atoms from the tetradentate Schiff base ligand in a distorted square geometry. The crystal packing exhibits short intermolecular Ni⋯Ni distances of 3.273 (3) Å.
