In the crystal structure of the title molecular salt, C(8)H(12)N(+)·C(7)H(7)O(3)S(−), the 4-ethylanilinium cations and 4-methylbenzenesulfonate anions are linked into chains parallel to the b axis by intermolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
