In the title compound, C(12)H(10)N(2)O(2)S, the dihedral angle between the benzene and thiophene rings is 23.34 (16)°. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked by N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming (100) sheets.
