In the title compound, C(12)H(9)ClN(2)O(2)·H(2)O, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 13.9 (2)° and an intramolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bond occurs. In the crystal structure, the components are linked by N—H⋯O, O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
