tert-Butyl 4-cyanophenyl carbonate
The title compound, C(12)H(13)NO(3), was prepared by reacting one equivalent of di-tert-butyl dicarbonate with 4-cyanophenol. Herringbone crystal packing is observed and there are no significant intermolecular interactions.
