In the molecule of the title compound, C(16)H(17)NO, the N—H and C=O bonds are anti to each other and the two benzene rings form a dihedral angle of 75.8 (1)°. The amide group is twisted by 28.1 (3) and 76.3 (2)° out of the planes of the 4-methylphenyl and 2,4-dimethylphenyl rings, respectively....
