In the title compound, C(8)H(7)Br(2)NO, the conformation of the N—H bond is anti to both the carbonyl and C—Br bonds in the side chain. In the crystal structure, molecules are packed into supramolecular chains along the c axis by N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
