In the crystal of the title hydrated mol­ecular salt, C(7)H(7)N(2) (+)·C(8)H(5)Cl(2)O(3)·H(2)O, the components inter­act by way of N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, leading to chains propagating in [100].
