In the title compound, C(12)H(15)BrO(2), the carboxyl group forms a dihedral angle of 78.4 (3)° with the benzene ring plane. In the crystal, molecules are linked into centrosymmetric dimers by pairs of O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
