N-[(Z)-(1-Methyl-1H-pyrrol-2-yl)methylidene]-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-amine
In the title compound, C(8)H(9)N(5), a Schiff base derived from N-methylpyrrole-2-carbaldehyde and 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole, the C=N double bond linking the two aromatic rings has a Z conformation. The two rings are twisted by 24.20 (5)°. A chain motif results from N—H⋯N hydrogen bonding.
