In the molecule of the title compound, C(18)H(13)N(3), the 4,5-diazafluorenylidene unit is nearly planar and is oriented at a dihedral angle of 66.31 (1)° with respect to the benzene ring. In the crystal structure, molecules are stacked regularly along the c axis.
